This is an informational book about the Holocaust appropriate for middle school age students. This is a daring collection of the stories of nine Jewish survivors of the holocaust. All nine witnessess were children at the time. They each have a different story coming from many different concentration camps. They tell their stories of the unimaginable horrors that they faced, along with their diverse survival tactics. Some made daring escapes while some disguised their identities. This is a book to be utilized in the classroom to really grab the attention of students and make them stand up and take notice of how devastating this time in history truly was.
