Tuesday is a picture book that can only be found in print. It is a recipient of the Caldecott Award. This book has little to no words. The pictures tell quite the funny story though. Tuesday evening around 8:00 all of the frogs begin to fly on their lilly pads. The frogs fly through clothes lines, terrorize dogs, and sneak in to houses and watch television. As soon as morning approaches the frogs go back to their pond. The book ends with a caption that says," Next Tuesday..." and an image of the shadow of a pig flying against an old barn. This is an excellent book for very small children that are just beginning to love books on their own. Appropriate for kindergarten or below students.
