No detail is spared when it comes to describing the fear that the girls felt while living in the attic or the horrific experiences they encountered at the concentration camps. Hannah stayed by Anna's side as she died at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. This book works unbelievably well alongside the novel Night for a unit on the Holocaust.
